Gluten Free Artisan Bread

Now a Gluten Free bread mix that can also be moulded into authentic artisan bread rolls.

600g (1 Pack) Bakels Gluten Free Artisan Bread Mix
540ml (540g) tepid water (25°-30° C.)
14g (3 teaspoons) instant active yeast
30g vegetable oil


  1. Place Gluten Free Artisan Bread Mix into mixer with beater attachment, and add yeast, water and oil.
  2. Mix on low speed for 1 minute and then on medium speed for 4 minutes.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a bench dusted with Bakels Gluten Free flour and mould into desired shapes.
  4. Place onto a lightly greased baking tray, cover with oiled cling-wrap and leave in warm place to double in size.
  5. Remove the cling-wrap.
  6. Pre-heat oven to 210°C.
  7. If desired, gently cut the dough skin (not more than 3 mm deep) with a sharp knife into a nice simple pattern.
  8. Place the tray in the centre of the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
