Chocolate and Strawberry Cobbler
Ingredients
500g Bakels Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix120g Butter (Softened)
1 Egg
500g Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
50g Caster Sugar
3 Tablespoon Cornflour
50g Dark Chocolate Chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C bake and set aside a medium sized baking dish.
- Slice or add fresh or frozen strawberries to a bowl and mix through the chocolate chips, caster sugar and cornflour and then set aside.
- To make the cobbler topping, add the Bakels Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix into a bowl, along with the butter and egg, and mix together until a dough comes together.
- Pour out the strawberries into prepared baking dish, then crumble the cookie dough over top.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is baked and golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
