Afghan Biscuits
Ingredients
175g butter, softened¼ cup GF cocoa powder
⅔ cup sugar
1½cups GF cornflakes
1½ cup BAKELS GLUTEN FREE BAKING MIX
Method
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Sift Bakels Gluten Free Health Baking Mix and cocoa powder and stir into mixture to form a dough.
- Add cornflakes by hand until just mixed through.
- Roll into balls of desired size and flatten slightly.
- Place on tray and bake at 180°C 12-15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool on tray so Afghans can firm up.
- When cold, ice with chocolate icing and decorate with a walnut.
