Caramel Slice
Ingredients
Base
1 cup coconut 125g melted butter
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup BAKELS GLUTEN FREE FLOUR
Filling
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp golden syrup
1½ tins condensed milk
Method
- Combine all ingredients and spread into a lamington tin.
- Bake at 180°C for 5 minutes.
Filling
- Melt together in a microwave until just mixed then pour over base and cook another 10 minutes.
- When cool, ice with ordinary chocolate icing or melt 125 g cooking chocolate and 1 tsp of butter and spread over.
