Chocolate Cheesecake Brownie Slice
Ingredients
1 Gold Label Chocolate Brownie Baking Mix as per pack instructions, PLUS2 Tbs water
CHEESECAKE SWIRL:
175gr cream cheese, softened
1 egg
¼ cup sugar
1 Tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Make up Gold Label Chocolate Brownie as per instructions.
- In a stand mixer or by hand, beat all the cheesecake ingredients together for about 2 minutes.
- Remove about 1/3 cup of the brownie batter and place it in a separate bowl, adding two tablespoons of water + whisk together to thin it out.
- This will create the brownie swirl for the top!Pour the remaining brownie mix into a lined cake/slice tin.
- Pour the cheesecake mix over the brownie layer.
- Drop the remaining thinned out brownie mix onto the cheesecake and use a knife or bamboo skewer to create a few big swirls.
- You want to see big separate swirls of cheesecake and brownie so don’t overdo it.
- Bake for about 30 minutes at 180C, or until a knife inserted into the centre of the brownies comes out mostly clean.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream + summer berries for a festive touch.
