INGREDIENTS: Sugar, Wheat Flour, Vegetable Oil, Egg Powder, Modified Starch (1422), Raising Agents (450, 500), Whey Powder, Burnt Sugar, Emulsifier (477, 471), Wheat Starch, Salt, Cocoa Powder, Maize Starch, Preservative (202), Skim Milk Powder, Stabilisers (412, 415, 410, 452), Flavour, Mixed Spice, Acidity Regulator (330, 450), Colour (100).


What you'll need:

500g Bakels Rich Fruit Cake Mix
1 1/3 Cup Water
1 Egg
400g (2 ½ Cups) Dried Fruit Mix

Get Baking!

  1. Place Bakels Rich Fruit Cake Mix, water and the egg in a bowl.
  2. Mix for 1 minute on a slow speed.
  3. Scrape down the bowl.
  4. Shift to a medium speed and mix for a further 3 minutes.
  5. Add dried fruits then mix on a slow speed for 1 minute.
  6. Pour into desired greased baking tin (20cm square tin recommended).
  7. Bake at 165°C until an inserted skewer comes out clean (approximately 80 – 90 minutes for the above size).
